PHẦN A: LEXICO & GRAMMAR (3.0 điểm)

Câu 1 — Đáp án: A

Rổ rá, nón do nghệ nhân làm từ vật liệu tự nhiên là handicrafts (đồ thủ công mỹ nghệ). mechanics (thợ máy), electricians (thợ điện) chỉ người; facilities = cơ sở vật chất.

Câu 2 — Đáp án: B

Hệ thống giúp đi ra ngoại ô nhanh hơn ⇒ metro system (hệ thống tàu điện ngầm/đường sắt đô thị). traffic jam = tắc đường (làm chậm đi), skyscraper = nhà chọc trời, amenity = tiện ích.

Câu 3 — Đáp án: C

Thứ cần limit (hạn chế) để sống khoẻ là đồ ăn gây béo ⇒ fattening food. well-balanced, organic, fresh đều là thực phẩm tốt, không cần hạn chế.

Câu 4 — Đáp án: A

Bảo tồn các loài có nguy cơ tuyệt chủng là công việc của biologist (nhà sinh vật học). Ba nghề còn lại (nhà thiết kế thời trang, thợ máy, nhân viên bán hàng) không liên quan.

Câu 5 — Đáp án: A

Nhạc quá to ⇒ vặn nhỏ âm lượng: turn down the volume. pass down = truyền lại (cho thế hệ sau), look up = tra cứu, find out = tìm ra.

Câu 13 — Đáp án: A

Biển vuông nền vàng có hình xe buýt, không có vạch gạch chéo là biển chỉ dẫn điểm dừng xe buýt ⇒ A. B cần dấu gạch chéo (cấm); C không có chữ "closed"; D là taxi, không phải xe buýt.

Câu 14 — Đáp án: C

SAVE ELECTRICITY: Turn off lights when leaving the room = tiết kiệm điện, tắt đèn khi rời phòng ⇒ C. A trái nghĩa; B quá mức (không cấm dùng điện); D không liên quan.

Câu 15 — Đáp án: B

Anh-Anh và Anh-Mỹ là hai varieties of English (biến thể của tiếng Anh) nổi tiếng nhất. dialects là phương ngữ trong một vùng, forms, changes không hợp nghĩa.

Câu 16 — Đáp án: C

Cấu trúc communicate with somebody = giao tiếp với ai.

Câu 17 — Đáp án: B

Sau động từ nối become cần tính từ ⇒ become fluent in English (thành thạo tiếng Anh). fluency, fluencies là danh từ, fluently là trạng từ.
